Off-grid builds
nobody else will quote.

Glamping platforms, outdoor showers, off-grid bathrooms, outhouses, bunkies, and boardwalks. Remote sites, uneven ground, no power — fine.

OFF-GRID

These are the jobs that get ignored. The site is hard to reach, the ground is not level, there is no power at the property, and most contractors would rather take the easy kitchen across town. We like them, and we have the equipment and patience to build on real terrain.

Piers cut individually to suit the ground — the platform is level, the site is notAccess matters more than power. We run generators and battery tools.
Tent and yurt platforms. Remote sites, no power, uneven ground. These are the jobs most contractors would rather not quote.

Glamping & tent platforms

Level, code-sane platforms for canvas tents, yurts, and domes. Built on piers or blocks to suit the ground, with the deck edges and tie-down detailing the structure actually needs.

Outdoor showers & off-grid bathrooms

Enclosures, privacy screening, drainage, and framing detailed for constant water. Gravity-fed, solar, or plumbed — built to work with whatever system your site supports.

Outhouses & composting setups

Properly built, properly ventilated, and better looking than they need to be. Suitable for camps, trailheads, event properties, and rental sites.

Bunkies, sheds & boardwalks

Small sleeping structures, tool and equipment sheds, elevated boardwalks over wet ground, and site-built stairs down slopes that have been a hazard for years.

How these jobs actually go

A day on a remote site

Get there

Access decides the price more than anything else. How close can a truck get, and what has to be carried the rest of the way?

Find level

Nothing on a wooded site is flat. We set a datum and cut every pier to suit the ground rather than fighting it.

Build off the ground

Piers, blocks or helical anchors depending on soil. Wood never touches dirt.

Leave it clean

Offcuts and packaging come out with us. Remote sites have no bin.

Common questions

Before you ask

Our site has no power. Is that a problem?
No. We run generators and battery tools as standard. Tell us about access — how close a truck can get matters more than power.
Do you build for campgrounds and rental properties?
Yes, including multiple identical platforms or units. Repeat builds get better per-unit pricing.
How far will you travel for this work?
Further than for standard jobs. Off-grid work often justifies the drive — send us the location and we will tell you honestly.
