New England weather is the real client on an exterior job. Everything we build outside gets detailed for water first — flashing, drainage, fastener choice, and ledger connections done to code — because that is what decides whether a deck lasts eight years or twenty-five.
New decks
Composite, PVC, or pressure-treated, from a simple platform off a slider to a multi-level build with picture framing and hidden fasteners. Proper footings, code-compliant ledger attachment, and framing spaced for the decking you actually chose.
Stairs & railings
Even rise and run, solid landings, and railings that pass inspection and do not wobble in year three. Cable, composite, aluminum, or built wood — your call.
Porches & pergolas
Screened porches, roof structures, pergolas, and privacy walls. Shade and shelter that look like part of the house rather than something bolted on.
Repair & rebuild
Sometimes the framing is fine and the surface is shot — that is a resurface, not a teardown, and it costs a fraction. We will tell you honestly which one you are looking at.
